Names for the Buildings on the New Site

Pastor Bonga asked if people at St. Matthew's would chose the names for the new buildings. Some people had made some suggestions but nothing really had been decided.
The team, while visiting, thought about this. They felt that it would be good to give the new buildings the names of places that Jesus had visited and done significant things at.
These are our suggestions:-
  • The boys dormitory: Bethlehem
  • The girls dormitory: Emmaus
  • The water tower: Cana (because Jesus turns water into wine!)
  • The kitchen: Bethany (because Martha cooked excellent meals for Jesus there)
  • The reception/ofices: Bethpage
  • The well: Sychar (where Jesus met the woman at the well)
  • The shower block: Galilee (lots of water!)
  • The school rooms: Nazareth, Capernum, Damascus: all places where Jesus met people and taught them
