100 laps of Draycote Water Sunday 21st September 2008
Completed!!!
On Sunday 21st September between 9am and 6pm over 60 people walked and ran
round Draycote Water, near Rugby, to raise money for Casa Reom. They
completed over 100 laps. Amount raised is still to be calculated, but
is probably going to be over £2000!!. The weather was brilliant,
and all those who came really enjoyed it. Everyone who went round was given a
piece of a 100 piece jigsaw showing a Casa Reom dormitory. As the pieces
came back the picture got filled in: a very visible reminder of what
it was all about.
If you would like to donate your sponsorship money for the event, please go to the JustGiving page: 100 Laps of Draycote for Casa Reom. To see photographs of the event: Click here.

This involved 7 nights in an environment that changes from tropical forest on the lower
slopes to temperatures of minus 20 degrees Celsius at the 19,000 ft summit.
Jim has raised £1065 so far!

They hoped to raise £500 for Casa Reom, however they raised an amazing £1638 - well done, and
thanks for everyone who sponsored them. You can still donate:
via their JustGiving page.
