Buildings4Beira Appeal
Last year's Christmas Appeal "Buildings4Beira" has been extended and is in support of the current building work at Casa Reom. We will be raising money for furniture and equipment for the new classroom and towards completion of the kitchen / dining block including equipment.
We are aiming to raise £2,500 to supplement the money raised through local income generation projects. This partnership approah represents a major achievement in self-sufficiency by Casa Reom.
New Classroom
The newly built Escola Reom classroom is already in use and so it just needs to be filled with chairs, tables and other equipment. The project took 6 months using local builders and this picture shows the classroom before it was completed.
New Kitchen & Dining Room
The original plan was to build a two storey building with kitchen and dining downstairs. However, due to the critical condition of the old kitchen it has been decided to progress with the new kitchen and then to add a separate staff and office block at a later date.

Giving Tuesday
PayPal Giving Fund offered to match all donations made on Tuesday 27th November 2018. This offer was limited to the first £50,000 and Casa Reom Trust received a share of these matched gifts. Gifts can still be made to the appeal via this link (except they won't be matched). Click on link below to donate.
