The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force on the 25th May 2018. As a charity we have taken steps to make sure we are compliant with these regulations and handle your personal data responsibly.
Those who are subscribed to our mailing lists are being contacted to gain consent to keep their personal data.
We have also produced a new Data Privacy Notice which explains how we use and protect personal data.
At the end of 2017 we carried out a survey with our supporters. We analysed the survey results and came up wih actions from what we discovered. The full survey can be viewed below.
Our action plan includes:
Including more stories on the boys in newsletters and the difference the project is making in the lives of the boys, other members of their families and community.
Keep promoting the individual link with the boys.
Continue to send prayer news regularly.
Record and follow up the individual offers of help.
Continue to take and seek opportunities to talk about Casa Reom in churches.
Make clear on the website that we are a small charity with personal links to Casa Reom.
Try to have more regular communications on the boys and staff at Casa Reom.
